  • hormonal factors,
  • caloric factors,
  • increasing your body’s metabolism, (which will increase how you burn calories),

Studies have consistently shown that the weight loss program that addresses all of these factors most precisely, effectively, efficiently, and productively is the ketogenic or “Keto Diet”. How does the Keto Diet actually work? It’s pretty basic. Normally carbohydrates in food are converted into glucose, which is then transported around the body and is important for fueling brain function. But if little carbohydrate remains in the diet, the liver converts fat into fatty acids and ketone bodies, the latter passing into the brain and replacing glucose as an energy source. The result of all this is an elevated level of ketone bodies in the blood (a state called ketosis).

This classic ketogenic diet, which was actually discovered to address certain medical problems in children (unrelated to weight-loss) contains a 4:1 ratio by weight of fat to combined protein and carbohydrate. This ratio is achieved by excluding high-carbohydrate foods such as starchy fruits and vegetables, bread, pasta, grains, and sugar while increasing the consumption of foods high in fat such as nuts, cream, and butter. The Keto Diet dramatically increases fat burning, and you automatically reduce inches from your waste. It is one of the great weight-loss, lifehacks.

 

 

Unfortunately many people misunderstand the Keto Diet and think it is a diet that consists of enormous amounts of meat and chicken and other flesh foods.

 

 

 

In reality even a vegan or vegetarian can thrive on a custom-designed Keto Diet.

 

 

And here is the good news if you have Type 2- Diabetes. A Keto Diet dramatically increases fat burning and reduces your insulin load. An increased insulin load (which is not a good thing) can result from the use of carbohydrates and sugars most of which are eliminated from the Keto Diet.
